Continuous Filament Yarns
ExxonMobil polypropylenes are very well suited for high-speed processing of moderate to high tenacity continuous filament yarns. Our polypropylene offerings have been tailored to perform well in both partially oriented yarns (POY) and fully oriented yarns (FOY). Achieve propylene polymers, produced using ExxonMobil's Exxpol technology, have a narrow molecular weight distribution and extremely low levels of oils and waxes. Achieve propylene polymers also allow faster processing speeds and provide higher yarn tenacity than conventional resins.
